The provinces of Central and North Vietnam faced large storms, rain, and floods from October to the end of November 2020. Some areas were isolated because of the floods and in need of food, water, clothes, and medicine. In true “Better Our Communities” spirit, Rich’s Vietnam team visited two provinces – Quảng Trị + Huế – to help.
These two provinces were chosen because they had received less help from volunteers than other provinces of Central North Vietnam. The team bought food, vitamins, blankets, and collected clothes to provide to more than 400 families. They also bought books and notebooks for students at two schools to help them get back on track after the storms. In the end, the Vietnam team was able to provide over $23,000 worth of donations for those in need.
