Jill Bond, Chief Ethics and Compliance Officer, was recently elected as Vice President of the 2021-2022 Bar Association of Erie County Board of Directors.
The Bar Association is a professional association of lawyers in Western New York dedicated to promoting legal reform, facilitating the administration of justice, and elevating the standard of integrity, honor, and courtesy in the legal profession.
As Vice President, she will work alongside the President to represent and govern the association – after a year, she will take on the role of President.
Under Jill’s leadership, the board aims to further diversity and inclusion within the local Bar, focus on attorney wellness, with an emphasis on mental health, and increase membership among Western New York’s lawyers.
Jill previously served on the Board of Directors, Judiciary Committee of the Bar Association, and the Association’s Volunteer Lawyers’ Project.
“I am humbled and honored to have been chosen by my peers to assume this leadership role. I look forward to making progress on these initiatives and addressing other issues that may be impacting lawyers over the next two years,” said Jill.
